No Heroes Need Apply - FREE Playtest

I am developing a grimdark low magic medieval(esque) d20 system to kickstart this fall (with Blackoath Entertainment). It is combat heavy, and closer to OSR in rules and implementation. I run mostly theatre of the mind and lite mapping (no minis). We will be playing Tomb of the Serpent King by Skerples - a great dungeon.

I've been running games for the better part of 35 years. DnD, Gamma World, Palladium suite, MERP, Rolemaster, Warhammer FRP. Typically play with adults, but run Gamma World and Basic Fantasy RP with nieces and nephews. My biggest influence is Call of Cthulhu, so I definitely like a little horror in my dungeon, and character death is not uncommon. This is a 4 session, short campaign.
